The Racket
The racket is an important equipment to play table tennis. It must be black on one side and red on the other. But, if only one rubber is used, the other side must be made by rubber too. It can be black or red in color as long as the other side must be contrast with the other side.
Damage to the racket
It is allowed by legal if an individual want to add small tears or chips anywhere in the rubber. It is depends on the umpire and must make sure that it will not cause any significant change.
Changing a racket during a match
An individual is not allowed to change a racket during a match unless it is accidentally damaged and cannot use it anymore. If that individual get a permission to change a racket, he or she must show it to the umpire and also the opponent side.
The net
For the net, people must make sure that it is 15.25cm above the playing surface. In terms of that, an individual should check both sides of the net and also the middle of the net. Most manufacturers make a device that checks the net height.
A point
An individual is not allowed to move the table, touch the net provided or even put hand on the playing surface while the ball is in play. It means that a person can put hand on the table once the ball is no longer in play.
